醒醒音樂節 Awaken Music Festival

Awaken Music Festival醒醒音樂節是目前全球唯一的佛教電子音樂節，它是一場將佛法智慧與傳統音樂、電子音樂、3D影像視覺等多種藝術相結合的演出現場，為你帶來前所未有的體驗。

音樂節一共兩天，在10月7號，音樂節第一天的演出部分，你將欣賞到來自不同國家和不同文化背景下的藝術家所帶來的演出。感受佛法智慧在不同文化背景下所孕育出的獨特魅力，體會佛法本身不受地域、階級、人種、文化、語言等一切標籤的限制，所帶來的真正的自由。

你聽過用死亡金屬來唱佛教咒語嗎？達摩樂隊震撼的現場演出是你不能夠錯過的！你見過用街頭塗鴉的方式來畫佛陀嗎？藝術家Blackzao將在現場Live Painting演出，為此次活動特別創作一幅以佛陀為主題的巨幅塗鴉畫作！很難想象咒語透過電子音樂又會產生怎樣的力量，來自越南的靈性歌者Tinna Tinh已經用她的音樂在Youtube平台感動上千萬人，這次醒醒音樂節很榮幸可以邀請她來台灣，全球首演作品蓮師心咒，你絕對沒有理由錯過。我們還很榮幸的邀請到曾在台灣Ultra、S2O等知名電音節上演出，EDM領域的冉冉新星，來自巴西的華裔DJ—Kennymusik，從小生長在佛教家庭的他，深受佛法影響，這次會與Didgeridoo和古箏、琵琶共同為音樂節創作一組音樂，Kenny會為我們帶來什麼樣的驚喜呢？最後，讓來自喜馬拉雅的禮贊，西藏歌唱藝術的絕代傳承人---葛莎雀吉女士，帶領你回到生命本初的純淨與祥和。

不論是用死亡金屬還是電子音樂來表達佛陀咒語，亦或是來自喜馬拉雅山的禮贊，在你享受音樂的當下，不僅可以獲得心靈的淨化，還可以直接透過這些咒語領受佛陀的加持，不論你是不是佛教徒，我們都歡迎你加入這場音樂的盛宴。

除了音樂演出，第二天8號下午我們特別安排了藝術家座談會，如果想知道7號晚上你所聽到的這些音樂背後的動機和故事，我們真誠的邀請你來更加深入的探索，佛法對這些藝術家的音樂和生活究竟帶來怎樣的影響。座談會結束後，你可以留下來繼續體驗瑜伽工作坊，通過身與心的共同協作，透過肢體動作與呼吸方法，來深化你的內在體驗。讓你在台北最繁華的信義區，新光三越A11頂樓，在喧囂都市的中心，也能重新找回心本初的平衡與寧靜。

晚上我們更邀請到《近乎佛教徒》《不是為了快樂》《上師也喝酒》等書的作家、《Hema Hema》《高山上的世界杯》《舞娘禁戀》等電影的導演、來自不丹的佛教導師宗薩欽哲仁波切與大家分享他的經驗和見解，在After party環節更有機會與仁波切近距離面對面交流，讓不論是學生、職員、金融家、時尚達人、網美、心靈之路追隨者的你，領悟生命的真諦，遠離擔憂、焦慮等情緒，真正開始享受你的人生，享受所擁有的一切。

醒醒的意思是希望人們醒過來，真正成為自己生命的主人。無需做任何改變，你只需要醒過來，然後去發現你原本就擁有的本初佛性。

Legacy Max,Taipei, OCT 7-8, Brace yourself for an extraordinary experience as the Awaken Music Festival brings together the profound wisdom of Buddhism with traditional music, electronic beats, and stunning 3D visual art. This unique event promises an unparalleled journey. Spanning two days, starting on October 7th, the festival will showcase performances by artists from different countries and diverse cultural backgrounds and will explore the unique blending of Buddhist wisdom with contemporary culture. Together, we will explore liberation: transcending geographical boundaries, social hierarchies, races, cultures, languages, and all other labels.

Have you ever heard Buddhist mantras sung in death metal style? You can witness it with the Dharma Band. It's hard to imagine the power unleashed when mantras meet electronic music. Hailing from Vietnam, the soulful singer Tinna Tinh has already touched the hearts of millions on YouTube with her music. The Awaken Music Festival is honored to invite her to Taiwan for the global premiere of her new piece, "Mantra of Padmasambhava." We are also thrilled to welcome KennyMusik, a rising star in the EDM scene from Brazil, who has performed at renowned electronic music festivals such as Ultra and S2O in Taiwan. Growing up in a Buddhist family, Kenny draws deep inspiration from Buddhism. In collaboration with a didgeridoo player and a guzheng artist, he will create a unique musical composition exclusively for the festival. Finally, receive blessings from the Himalayas from a master of Tibetan vocals, Chukie La, leads you back to our pristine ming. Whether expressing Buddhist mantras through death metal or electronic music, or offering wisdom from the Himalayas, through music we can not only re-find ourselves but also connect to awakened wisdom through these sacred chants. Regardless of whether you are a Buddhist or not, we warmly welcome you to join this musical extravaganza.

In addition to the music performances, the second day, we have a special treat lined up for the afternoon of October 8th. Join us for an exclusive artist panel discussion, where you can uncover the motivations and tales behind the melodies you'll experience on the evening of the 7th. Our sincere invitation extends to those who yearn to explore further, to understand how Buddhism has woven its threads into the music and lives of these gifted artists. Once the panel concludes, why not linger for a rejuvenating yoga workshop? Through the harmonious collaboration of body and mind, you will deepen your inner experience through physical movements and breathing techniques. Allow yourself to find balance and tranquility at the pinnacle of Taipei's vibrant Xinyi District, on the rooftop of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A11, at the heart of the bustling city.

Later in the evening, we are delighted to invite Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, a Buddhist master from Bhutan, who is also the author of acclaimed books such as "What Makes You Not A Buddhist," "Not for Happiness," and "The Guru Drinks Bourbon?" Rinpoche will share his experiences and insights, allowing students, professionals, financiers, fashion enthusiasts, social media influencers, and spiritual seekers of all walks of life to gain insight into understanding of the true essence of life, liberate ourselves from unnecessary worry, and truly begin to embrace and enjoy everything life has to offer.

The name "Awaken" signifies the wish for people to awaken and become the true masters of their own lives. No need for drastic changes; all you need is to wake up and discover the inherent Buddha nature that already resides within you.

僧眾免票。需寫郵件至awakenmusicfestival@gmail.com，提供姓名，電話，以便主辦方提前登記並統計人數。當日需著僧袍或出示出家證，從僧眾專用通道核對姓名和電話信息入場。

預售一經完售即不開放現場售票。

一人一票入場，票券遺失，須重新購票，恕不補發。

活動開演前10日起（不含活動當日）即不再受理退票。本活動的退票辦理截止期限為2023/09/27（星期三），逾期恕不受理。

Quantity Quota : Each order allows the purchase of up to 4 tickets.

Start Time : The curtain rises at 18:30, with doors opening at 17:30.

Presale Opening : Presale tickets will be available from August 10th, 2023 (Thu) at 12:00. Note that presale ends on the day before the event. On the event day, only on-site ticket purchases (cash only) will be available.

Age Exemption : Children under 10 enter free of charge（Born after 2013）, but must be accompanied by a ticketed adult who can present their health insurance card or another age-related identification.

Monastic Entry : Monastics enjoy free entry. Kindly email awakenmusicfestival@gmail.com with your name and phone number, for advance registration and headcount purposes. Monastics should better wear their robes or present their monastic identification at the dedicated entry point, where names and phone numbers will be verified.

Presale Exclusivity : Once presale tickets are sold out, on-site ticket sales won't be available.

Ticket Ownership : Entry requires one ticket per person. Lost tickets won't be reissued; a new purchase is necessary.

Ticket Swapping : Please verify your choice before purchasing, as ticket swapping is not possible. Any need for changes equates to ticket refund procedures.
